La communication entre patient cancéreux et médecin joue un rôle important dans la prise en charge du cancer. L'article concerne les demandes, les moyens et les nécessités d'améliorer ce processus relationnel. Il présente des essais d'aide standardisée par l'intermédiaire de questionnaires, de résumés ou d'enregistrements ; il montre des résultats statistiques qui en ont été tirés. Il donne un exemple de questionnaire utilisable par le patient pour mieux formuler ses questions.
