International audience. Managing a unique territory such as the Forez Hautes Chaumes requires solid understanding of the factors and processes that contribute to its organization. Here we use the Pegase algorithm enabling the identification of the physical and anthropogenic variables that play dominant roles in landscape organisation. Through measures of spatial enthropy, we illustrate the importance of scale in relation to the section of variables that are found to be dominant in landscape organization. . La gestion d'un territoire comme les Hautes Chaumes du Forez, présentant une certaine singularité, Entropie spatiale passe par une bonne compréhension des facteurs et processus qui participent à son organisation. Nous proposons ici une méthodologie, centrée sur le processus Pegase, mettant en évidence les Variables dominantes variables physiques et anthropiques jouant un rôle primordial. En utilisant la notion d'entropie spatiale, nous montrons l'importance des effets d'échelles, leur prise en compte permettant la sélection de ces variables que nous appelons dominantes.
