Les auteurs cherchent à relier l'évolution de la qualité de vie des patients en fin de vie avec celui de leurs objectifs de vie. L'analyse de cette hypothèse est faite à partir du suivi de 20 patients après leur entrée dans une unité de soins palliatifs. ; leurs caractéristiques sont donnés en tableau. Un questionnaire d'évaluation individuelle de la qualité de vie (EIQoL-DW) a été utilisé pour recueillir et quantifier les réponses obtenues lors d'entretiens semi structurés S Les résultats sont illustrés par des tableaux et graphiques statistiques ; ils montrent une stabilité des scores d'évaluation qui parait liée notamment à un processus d'adaptation de ces patients, indépendamment de leurs conditions physiques
