L'objectif principal de cette étude était d'évaluer si les stratégies d'adaptation "focus sur l'avenir" et "focus sur le trauma" pouvaient prévenir la gravité du chagrin. Les résultats montrent notamment qu'un focus plus prononcé sur l'avenir entraîne une sévérité du chagrin moins élevée.
