L'objectif de ce groupe d'étude est d'explorer l'acceptabilité d'un programme d'entretiens auprès de patients, destiné à les encourager à discuter des soins qu'ils envisageraient pour eux en fin de vie. L'objectif de ce groupe est également d'en explorer la faisabilité (échéance, nature et impacts). Les résultats de ce groupe montrent que, bien que certains patients acceptent l'opportunité de parler des soins qu'ils envisageraient pour eux en fin de vie, d'autres ne se sentent pas encore prêts ou capables de le faire. Cette planification anticipée des soins pourrait alors prendre sa place après un certain nombre de rencontres et devra être menée avec un professionnel expérimenté ayant suffisamment de temps et de connaissances pour répondre aux questions posées.
