International audience. Candida palmioleophila belongs to the Saccharomycetales. This opportunistic yeast which has been associated with invasive infections in human and animals, warrants a specific attention as it is frequently misidentified and display reduced susceptibility to fluconazole. Here, we report the first draft genome of C. palmioleophila, obtained from a clinical isolate.
