International audience. A sub-complete axial skeleton of Enaliosuchus macrospondylus Koken, 1883 (Crocodylia, Metriorhynchidae) has been discovered in the Lower Valanginian (Campylotoxus Zone), near Barret-le-Bas (Hautes-Alpes, Southeastern France). This specimen is the most complete and the best stratigraphically constrained of this genus. Only, two others less complete specimens are known. This specimen is one of the last metriorhynchids known. It shows a unique case of high nares raising for a crocodilian, a characteristic still unknown among this taxa. .
