International audience. The spectrum of human diseases with complement contribution is ever increasing. Tools to study the complement contribution and the potential interest of novel complement inhibitors in clinical practice are lacking. Here we discuss a functional ex-vivo assay to monitor complement activation on endothelial cells, which can answer to this need.
