Facebook helps to get the palliative care message across to future doctors = Facebook aide à faire passer le message des soins palliatifs aux futurs médecins

Malgré plusieurs décennies de sensibilisation des professionnels et du grand public, le message des soins palliatifs n'apparaît toujours pas clairement. Le cursus de formation des médecins y consacre peu de temps. Trois professeurs de l'université Monash de Melbourne (Australie) ont créé une page Facebook en complément de la journée de cours sur les soins palliatifs que suivent tous les étudiants de premier cycle en médecine. Cette page Facebook permet de sensibiliser les étudiants, mais aussi de diffuser plus largement l'information sur les soins palliatifs. Elle est ouverte à toutes les parties concernées et offre des possibilités d'apprentissage, de réflexion et de développement de contacts. Cette page Facebook permet également aux patients et à leur famille de s'impliquer dans la formation des professionnels de santé aux soins palliatifs. [D'après résumé revue]
