International audience. Paediatric cancers account for more than 2300 new cases per year in France, among which leukaemia are the most frequent (26%). Unlike adults, 80% of acute leukaemias in children are of lymphoid lineage (ALL) Acute lymphoblastic leukaemias develop in the bone marrow (BM) and leads to a defect in normal blood cell production.
