International audience. Here we report a series of crystal structures (and accompanying biophysical data) of an array of diverse detergent guests bound to an oligourea foldamer helix bundle. These results significantly increase our structural and chemical understanding of aqueous guest recognition by oligourea foldamers and will aid the design of further functionalised oligourea-based self-assemblies.

Crystal structures capture multiple stoichiometric states of an aqueous self-assembling oligourea foldamer

Archive ouverte | Collie, Gavin | CCSD

International audience. We report here an oligourea foldamer able to self-assemble in aqueous conditions into helix bundles of multiple stoichiometries. Importantly, we report crystal structures of several of these ...

Thioether Analogues of Disulfide-Bridged Cyclic Peptides Targeting Death Receptor 5: Conformational Analysis, Dimerisation and Consequences for Receptor Activation

Archive ouverte | Pulka-Ziach, Karolina | CCSD

International audience. Cyclic peptides containing redox-stable thioether bridges might provide a useful alternative to disulfide-bridged bioactive peptides. We report the effect of replacing the disulfide bridge wi...

TMEM70 forms oligomeric scaffolds within mitochondrial cristae promoting in situ assembly of mammalian ATP synthase proton channel

Archive ouverte | Bahri, Hela | CCSD

International audience. Mitochondrial ATP-synthesis is catalyzed by a F1Fo-ATP synthase, an enzyme of dual genetic origin enriched at the edge of cristae where it plays a key role in their structure/stability. The e...
