L’auto-transplantation : une approche sous-estimée ?

International audience. Auto-transplantation is a still unknown therapeutic solution that presents multiple indications in the growing patient. It requires close collaboration between the orthodontist, the dentist and the oral surgeon. We will illustrate this article by a clinical case of transplantation of a premolar in place of a central incisor after a review of the indications, advantages and surgical procedure of this method. . L’auto-transplantation est une solution thérapeutique encore méconnue qui présente de multiples indications chez le patient en cours de croissance. Elle nécessite une étroite collaboration entre l’orthodontiste, le chirurgien-dentiste et le chirurgien oral. Nous illustrerons cet article par un cas clinique de transplantation d’une prémolaire en place d’une incisive centrale après un rappel des indications, des avantages et de la procédure chirurgicale de cette méthode.
