Ils réduisent ses visites à l’hôpital et le risque d’infection. Cependant, ils induisent de nouvelles problématiques comme la gestion des effets secondaires. Dans ce contexte, l’éducation thérapeutique est primordiale. Le premier programme français d’éducation thérapeutique pour patients sous anticancéreux oraux en hospitalisation à domicile a été mis en place.
