International audience. Magnetic resonance imaging is a very powerful ap-proach to perform anatomical and functional imaging explorations. Large animal models are perfectly suited for MRI studies using clinical devices and these tools are cur-rently being developed and improved. Here we highlight an example of MRI to demonstrate the efficacy of gene therapy in sheep models of Batten disease, a pediatric neurodegenerative disease.
