International audience. The presymptomatic diagnosis of Huntington chorea (HC) by genic amplification (PCR: polymerase chain reaction) of a DNA G8 sequence containing a polymorphic HindIII site was tested in a particular HC genealogy. The advantage of this method are discussed.
